Dr. Marta Potrykus awarded with Prestigious EMBO Scientific Exchange Grant

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Marta Potrykus from the Laboratory of Biologically Active Compounds has received an EMBO Scientific Exchange Grant.

The funding will support a research fellowship in Sweden in collaboration with Dr. Benedicte Albrectsen. The research will be carried out at the Department of Plant Physiology, Umeå Plant Science Center, Umeå University, Umeå, Sweden.

The grant will enable Dr. Marta Potrykus to conduct advanced research in one of Europe's leading facilities specializing in experimental plant biology and to build international collaborations.

EMBO (European Molecular Biology Organization) is a prestigious organization of over 1,800 outstanding scientists in the life sciences. Its mission is to support scientific excellence through scholarship programs, grants, courses, and initiatives that foster the development of young researchers and strengthen global scientific networks. The EMBO Scientific Exchange Grant programme aims to support international scientific cooperation and the transfer of knowledge and expertise between laboratories.
